Oh my how time flies – I know it is so cliché – but where did it all go? I ask myself that at the end of each day when I review my “To Do” list which has 3 things marked off and 5 things added! I still can’t believe the holidays are upon us. Fall just flew by. I haven’t blogged in so long that I don’t know what I have or have not blogged about. In a nutshell here is what I remember:
Football practice – Ralph, Davis and Mason – 4 days per week – 2 hours per day.
Football games – 2 every Wednesday – 2 more weeks till play-offs.
Lagoon – spent Pioneer Day in July at Lagoon (probably a duplicate post .)
Costly Mistake – I forgot to turn off the valve to the pool slide after a fun afternoon of swimming (pump turned off so slide wasn’t going when I closed pool). Woke up the next morning to a torn cover. Had to call Ralph at Scout camp and tell him (he was so loving and kind to me as I tried to tell him the news while crying). Brianna felt bad and sent me flowers. I tied Palmer to my side – literally – for 6 days until the new cover came.
Cross Country – Shelby took up a new sport and has done great and persevered.
Broken thumb – Davis broke at practice during first week. Had surgery and two pins. Out for 6 weeks – very tough! Pins out and Davis is back at quarterback.
School – homework, reading – we try!
Soccer games – Lochlyn’s new sport (when we made it there.)
Driver License – Shelby finally got her hours in and got her license.
Piano – we try to practice.
Sound of Music – girls outing to see the play at Sundance.
Dance – Britney and Ashten – 3 days per week.
Palmer – first child I have believed in using a leash on – need I say more! (He also has the life eating pizza while swimming.)
BYU football games.
Laundry, house cleaning, dinner planning and cooking – ENDLESS!
Pinterest – oh my so addicting – love it! Yes I am hooked and we have made lots of fun crafts and are unfortunately eating dessert 3-4 times a week (Ralph is getting mad at me – who needs to be healthy?!)
Christmas – back to planning, sewing, scrapbooking, blogging.
Dentist – lots of appointments, cavities and two teeth pulled.
Sold a car and bought a car.
General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – loved it! It was so inspirational and motivational. So excited for the Provo Tabernacle (what’s left) to become a temple. I loved that building and going to church there. How exciting to be able to go to the temple there in the future.
I am tired and can’t remember more right now – so TTFN!
