First things first – I don’t know how to spell “day-sha-voo”. Second thing – it was a long day! Started with one doctor appointment for Davis’ hand at 9:30 this morning. The doctor was behind 1 1/2 hours so we left (after waiting 1 hour). Drove to Salt Lake for two more doctor’s appointments (Ralph and Paula). In the meantime tried to figure out over texting with Brianna why the new computer monitor wasn’t working. Then time for bloodwork, 15 minutes of shopping (always a must in Salt Lake) and back to the doctor’s office. Then lunch on the go while driving back to Orem. Tried to get x-rays from Instacare but their computers weren’t working. Went to OCH to have them get the x-rays then back to hand doctor (no wait this time). After doc looked at x-rays determined we would to try to have him set Davis’ hand in the office rather than surgery. Poor Davis (natural consequences) had to endure a few shots trying to numb his hand and wrist so the doctor could tweak the broken bones for 15 minutes back into place (it looked painful)! Back to Salt Lake to pick up prescriptions then one more trip back to doctor office. Drove home so we could go to parent teacher conferences at the high school (painful for the child). Back to the doctor’s office where it all started to pick up Ralph’s truck. Then it was time to drive Brit and Ashten to dance. We stopped at Texas Roadhouse for dinner while girls were at dance. Took leftovers home to Bri and Shelby then back to pick up girls from dance. Put Palmer back in bed for the 5th time and now ready to crash! We are thankful that doctor was able to get Davis’ hand set in his office and that it is finally time for bed!
